Scott Aleshire
I am a geologist at heart. I studied and fell in love with it while getting my BS at Ohio State. After school, digging into clay as an artistic medium, I realized that I could merge my passions for science and art into a kaleidoscope. I am constantly informed by the outcomes of my work. I seek to employ new design techniques through the development of complex form, surface design and visual patterns. In my work, I hope to allude to the intricate nature of reality. I explore how nature and consciousness express themselves through simple self-similar geometric archetypes.
