Gabrielle Lundy

Gabrielle Lundy feels her artwork is a creative response to a world full of too much stuff and too little meaning. She began upcycling materials to use in her work in 1974 as a retort to the throw away culture of consumerism the world world has adopted in the 21st century. She focuses on creating mixed media textile collages and assemblages. An Iowa Midwesterner at heart, she feels very comfortable in Ohio. Having relocated to Cincinnati from Seattle in 2020, she is very excited to explore opportunities in the regional art communities here.
